Stertil-Koni UK General Manager Tony Edge (pictured) will retire from the heavy-duty vehicle lift supplier at the end of July after over 30 years’ service to the business.

Mr Edge began his career in the Army, where he served for over seven years in the Royal Engineers as a plant engineer. Upon the end of military service, he joined the commercial sector, taking on sales and key account roles at garage equipment businesses Concept and Bradbury.

In 1994, Mr Edge joined Stertil, where he would go on to lead the Koni division for more than three decades.

Retirement from the business “marks the close of a long and impactful career that has left a lasting legacy at Stertil-Koni and within the commercial vehicle lifting industry,” the supplier says. “His leadership, knowledge and dedication have been instrumental to the success of the Koni business in the UK.”

Mr Edge is credited with having brought a wealth of technical expertise and a deep understanding of the industry to Stertil-Koni and has earned widespread respect for his professionalism, integrity and commitment to building strong and lasting relationships with colleagues, distributors, and partners.

“Under Tony’s leadership, Stertil-Koni has gone from strength to strength,” the company continues. “His strategic insight and collaborative approach have not only shaped the growth of the Koni business but have also had a meaningful impact on the wider industry.”

A spokesperson has thanked Mr Edge for his many years of service and added that all within the company wish him happiness in retirement.
