On the 3 March, a team of five FirstGroup graduates will be hosting a virtual horse racing night in Great Yarmouth to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK – FirstGroup’s chosen charity partner.
The graduates have been tasked with raising awareness and £2,500 for the charity over a six-month period.
Says Rose Hardy-Barrett, Finance Management Graduate: “So far we have raised over £1,000 and we are expecting to take at least another £1,000 from this event alone.
“This will be done through ticket sales to the event, bets on horses, raffle tickets at the event, as well as sponsorship organisations.”
