AlcoSense Ultra is Police-standard breathalyser

AlcoSense Ultra Police-standard breathalyser has a wide variety of functions

The AlcoSense Ultra breathalyser uses the same fuel cell alcohol sensor as several Police-standard units, taking accuracy and ease of use to a new level.

Its sampling system ensures that only deep lung air (the most accurate part of the breath) is measured. It also uses additional sensors to measure the pressure, flow rate and volume. Readings are also fine-tuned to temperature.

A coaching aspect helps users to blow correctly. If they get it wrong, a reason for the failure is given, as are tailored tips to prevent a repeat.

The unit has a full colour, 48mm screen that gives a traffic light reading of blood and breath alcohol levels. It also not only alerts the user not to drive if they are close to or over the chosen limit, but will also calculate how long until they are sober.

All European drink-drive limits are pre-set, and an operator can also set its own, lower limit.
