Cycling to support children’s charity

I have been riding bicycles for a few years now and have completed the London to Brighton charity ride for the last five years. My biggest adventure, until now, was in half term week in May 2015 when my daughter Emily and I cycled to Paris.

My next adventure will be from Gravesend to Spain.

Starting on Saturday 23 June, I will leave Gravesend and over 18 days I will cycle to Portsmouth, catch the ferry to St Malo and cycle through France to Spain.

Once I reach Spain I will have two days to cycle 150 miles to Santander for the ferry back to Portsmouth. I will be riding solo and unsupported with just my tent to camp in each night.

I am doing this to support a local children’s cancer charity called Stacey’s Smiles that helps to provide children with Neuroblastoma with treats and wishes.

If anyone would like to sponsor me it would be greatly appreciated. Please go to my Just Giving page: goo.gl/G6HM19

I will be updating my journey via www.me-and-my-bike.com where you will be able to follow me while I am away on tour.
