Hodge’s Coaches has added two Mercedes-Benz Tourismo 55-seaters, supplied by Daimler Buses UK.
The Sandhurst operator has specified USB charging points, footrests and ambient interior lighting as part of the package, which additionally includes a heated driver’s seat with swivel functionality and a leather steering wheel.
Both 12-metre coaches are finished in Hodge’s Coaches’ distinctive blue and gold livery, and they are PSVAR compliant. That includes a factory-installed passenger lift immediately behind the front axle and destination displays.
Safety features capture Active Brake Assist 6, Sideguard Assist 2, and a rear-view camera supported by peripheral lighting.
Power in both coaches is from the OM 470 engine developing 422bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
