Tim Deakin will soon take over from Mel Holley as Editor of routeone

routeone Editor Mel Holley will step down on 28 September. He has served the leading coach and bus industry trade magazine since its inception in 2003, latterly including over four years at the helm.

Mr Holley will be replaced by current Deputy Editor Tim Deakin, who joined routeone in 2013. His first issue as Editor will be dated 3 October.

“Mel has played an integral role in the growth, development and success of routeone over 15 years,” says Diversified Communications UK Divisional Director Helen Conway.

“He has also had a significant input as the driving force behind its sister publications CDC News, Innovations and miniplus, and we thank him for that.”

“But Tim comes with a lot of ideas and enthusiasm and I look forward to what the future holds for routeone under his leadership.”
