Bridgend council is to appear at Newport Crown Court on 17 September in a prosecution by the Health and Safety Executive over the death of Ashley Talbot, 15, in December 2014 when he was run over by a minibus at Maesteg Comprehensive. 
The teacher who was driving was not prosecuted.
The council faces a minimum fine of £2.4m for its alleged safety failings.
