Albatross Travel has promoted Louise Fitzpatrick (pictured) to Managing Director.
Louise takes up the role from today (1 April), succeeding Denise Bridges, who will continue as Managing Director of Norman Allen Group Travel while remaining on the Albatross Group board.
The appointment comes as the group travel specialist seeks to build on its position as a wholesaler to the coach tourism sector, supplying tours and travel products to operators and partners across multiple market.
Louise joined the business from Marriott Hotels and has played a senior role within Albatross in recent years. The company said she brings a combination of commercial experience and sector knowledge, alongside involvement in industry bodies including the Coach Tourism Association.
“I am incredibly proud to take on the role of Managing Director at Albatross Travel,” says Louise. “Albatross has a trusted reputation within the industry, and it is a privilege to lead such a talented and dedicated team. Our focus will remain on delivering exceptional service and innovative travel solutions for our coach operator partners, while continuing to strengthen our position as a wholesaler of choice.”
Adds Denise: “It has been a pleasure to lead Albatross Travel and work alongside such a committed team. Louise’s promotion is thoroughly deserved. She brings strong leadership, empathy and excellent commercial judgement to the role, and I have every confidence she will guide Albatross Travel successfully into its next chapter.”
Albatross Travel and Norman Allen Group Travel operate as part of the Albatross Group, a privately owned business founded in 1985 that provides group tourism and coach holiday products across the UK, Europe and beyond.
