Social enterprise HCT Group, which operates community transport and other bus services around the UK, has raised £17.8m of funding via a refinancing of its existing debt and an injection of new capital to accelerate growth.
The money will allow HCT to continue its policy of acquiring commercial operators and turning them into social enterprises, which it has already done with Powells Bus of Rotherham and Impact Group, based in London.
