Transaid marked its 20th anniversary with The Princess Royal, the international development organisation’s Patron, addressing a special showcase event in London.
The event highlighted the achievements in sub-Saharan Africa of Transaid, which works to transform lives through safe, available and sustainable transport. These had been made possible thanks to the extensive support of the transport and logistics industry and key funding partners, the organisation says.
Addressing an audience including industry supporters, partners and development organisations, The Princess Royal said: “Your industry expertise and knowledge has driven this success, which is making a real difference in places where people are looking for change.”
