Atego-based Indcar Next L8 for Longmynd Travel is a 33-seat example

Shropshire operator Longmynd Travel of Shrewsbury’s latest fleet addition is a Mercedes-Benz Atego with Indcar Next L8 bodywork, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

It has 33 Active Force i40 seats with ‘leather look’ headrests and piping and three-point belts. The courier and driver’s positions are trimmed in grey to match. A Thermo King air-conditioning unit is fitted, as is rear air suspension.

Side windows are double-glazed, and the Next L8 also comes with a CCTV system, a reversing camera and an entertainment system complete with a monitor. A touch screen in the cab controls all body functions.

Power is from the 7.7-litre, six-cylinder OM 936 engine that develops 240bhp. It drives through an automated manual Powershift 3 gearbox.
