The two 13.7m Scania Touring HDs with PPH are in its bright yellow livery

Provence Private Hire (PPH) of St Albans has expanded its fleet by adding two K 410 EB tri-axles with Touring HD bodywork, supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822).

They are 13.7m coaches with 57 Kiel seats. Each also has a Bosch entertainment system, a coolant pre-heater, Xenon headlights and a centre sunken toilet. A Frenzel servery with a fridge has also been specified.

The operator borrowed a demonstrator prior to placing its order, and it says that coach proved the tri-axle Touring HD’s manoeuvrability.

Alongside the vehicles, PPH will benefit from the repair and maintenance programme provided with all Scania coaches sold to retail buyers. It will be managed by Scania South Mimms.

Also included free of charge for 10 years is Scania’s OnBoard telematics package.
