Reading Buses has been crowned “Business Champion of the Arts” at the Reading Cultural Awards.

The company was acknowledged for having a ‘rich history of engagement and support for arts in the community’.
Says Martijn Gilbert, Reading Buses CEO: “We are absolutely overwhelmed to have won this award.
“A bus company supporting the arts is still something very rare across the country and while other companies may support one or two initiatives we have been constantly working with venues, event organisers and groups to publicise and support art in all its forms across Reading and throughout the local area.”
