Bay Travel of Cowdenbeath has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with accessible Mellor Strata LF bodywork.
It operates a contracted service to Inverkeithing and was purchased following a successful trial. Fuel consumption returns have proved to be excellent and drivers also appreciate the Strata, says Service Operations Manager Niall Douglas.
“The Strata has additionally been very well received by our passengers. They like the fact that while it is a small bus, it still has the airy feel and features and benefits of a larger vehicle.”
