Diamond Bus North West held a Christmas jumper day on Friday 13 December. At the same time, it raised money for a local foodbank.
“We decided to collect for a foodbank because Christmas is about giving. This was something that we felt would allow us to give something to those people who may be struggling at the festive period,” says Corporate Design and Marketing Manager David Clayton.
The goods collected will be delivered by Diamond Bus this week. In addition to what was collected on the day, further donations have followed, adds Mr Clayton.
