The UK Coach Rally, scheduled to be held on the weekend of 18-19 April, has been cancelled. Organisers say the dates for 2021 will be announced shortly.
Those visitors who have booked accommodation with the Imperial Hotel through the UK Coach Rally website will see their booking automatically transferred to 2021.
Separately, the National Final of the Bus Driver of the Year competition has also been cancelled. It was to be held in Blackpool on Sunday 6 September. All entry fees will be refunded. Organiser the UK Bus Driver of the Year Association says it is “determined” that 2021’s contest will go ahead.
