Slough operator Readybus has purchased five new two-axle coaches from Scania Great Britain (01909 500822): Four 12.8m Interlink HDs on K 410 EB chassis, and one 12.1m Touring HD on a K 360 IB.
The Interlink HDs each have 53 half-leather seats with drop-down tables and magazine nets.
They and the Touring HD also have Scania’s OnBoard telematics service, provided free of charge on all new retail coaches for 10 years.
Says Director Matt Clayson: “When we were looking to expand the fleet, we contacted Scania as we’ve been fans of the company for a number of years and we have a good relationship with the team.
“Later in the year, we are looking at taking advantage of the driver training that is offered.”
