Both the British Tourism and Travel Show and the British Coach Tourism Awards have each been further postponed to March 2021, organiser Diversified Communications UK has announced.
The British Tourism and Travel Show will now be held at the NEC Birmingham on 24-25 March 2021. The British Coach Tourism Awards will be staged on 24 March 2021 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham. The revision to dates has been made in view of difficulties brought about by the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
Says British Tourism and Travel Show Group Event Director David Maguire: “We appreciate how important the show is to the industry it serves. We are very sorry to disappoint the thousands of attendees that were planning to exhibit and visit.
“However, the success as well as the safety of our exhibitors, speakers and visitors has always been our priority. We are hoping that everyone will get behind this tough decision.”
Many of the show’s exhibitors and partner associations have supported the move to reschedule to 2021. Both events had previously been postponed to October 2020.
For the British Coach Tourism Awards, the shortlist and the winners for 2020 will each move to the rescheduled event. “That means we can ensure that the British Coach Tourism Awards continue to be a celebration and gathering that the industry deserves and can be proud of,” says Event Manager Lloyd Jones.
All British Coach Tourism Awards ticket bookings will be directly transferred to the new date.
