Clare Booth has been appointed as Human Resources (HR) Director for Scania Great Britain.

Clare takes overall responsibility for the manufacturer’s UK HR function, supporting its nationwide network of commercial vehicle service centres and over 1500 members of staff at its Milton Keynes support centre.

“Clare joins us from another commercial vehicle manufacturer and has many years of experience in HR,” says Scania Great Britain Managing Director Martin Hay. “Her knowledge of the important and ever-changing HR industry, hand in hand with her experience in the automotive sector, is sure to benefit us greatly.

“From my point of view, our HR and people agenda has never been more important than right now. On behalf of the entire Scania UK team, I wish Clare every success in her new role and career with us.”

Adds Clare: “I am delighted and proud to be joining such a highly respected, premium brand as Scania. I am also very much looking forward to working with the team here as we shape the employee journey by transforming this important area of our business and embedding a HR strategy and an employee experience that puts people at the forefront of everything we do.”
