Hollywood Travel has taken delivery of a 10.9m Scania K 360 EB with Touring bodywork. It is the first new coach from the Swedish manufacturer to be delivered to the Solihull-based operator and was supplied by Scania UK.
The vehicle comes with 45 seats, a DVD player and two monitors and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels. Included in the sale is a two-year repair and maintenance contract, something that Managing Director William Jeynes says was a significant factor in his decision to choose Scania.
He adds: “We first saw the Touring at the UK Coach Rally in Blackpool and we were really impressed. When Scania UK Retail Sales Manager Lee Wale explained that a two-year repair and maintenance package was also included, it was an easy decision.
“This is our first new Scania purchase and from order to delivery, the process has been very smooth.”
Adds Mr Wale: “We are delighted that William and Hollywood Travel have purchased their first new Scania from us. The Touring suits their operations perfectly. It is comfortable, easy to load, well equipped and ultimately, cost effective to run – ideal for any of their routes.”
