Paul’s Coaches takes Scania Irizar Treinta limited edition

Paul’s Coaches of North Staffordshire has taken delivery of a limited-edition Scania Irizar Treinta supplied by Scania UK in a further fleet investment round.

It is built on a K360NI underframe and has i6S Efficient bodywork, which Irizar debuted in 2022 to give reduced fuel consumption via a combination of lower weight and air resistance. Part of the latter work is a rear-view camera system, as fitted to the Harriseahead operator’s coach.

The newcomer is the second Scania to join Paul’s Coaches, and the first new example. It is PSVAR compliant thanks to a lift behind the front axle and is finished in the business’s trademark metallic blue livery that includes a prominent Staffordshire Knot. A cherished registration mark completes the effect.

Scania launched the Treinta special edition earlier in 2023 to commemorate 30 years of its collaboration with Irizar in the UK coach market. Production of the Treinta is limited to 30 examples.
