Astons Coaches has taken delivery of a mid-sized Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach. It follows multiple previous TC9s into the Worcester fleet.
The new coach seats 34 with a rear floor-level toilet, fitted at the factory. A half-leather, red-based trim is included, while power comes from the Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
PSVAR readiness has been specified to permit straightforward conversion to achieve full compliance later in life. That work includes the existing presence of destination displays and an additional nearside door. Polished alloy wheels are fitted.
Pelican also offers the TC9 in a fully-seated layout that can accommodate 37 passengers.
