Jewitts Coaches of Chollerford, Northumberland, has taken delivery of its first Yutong TC9 midi, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.
Purchase of a TC9 followed recommendation from other operators. Pelican UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins says that the sale was completed quickly, with a part-exchange vehicle having been taken against the new coach.
“The TC9 is highly specified as standard, which helps operators considering a midicoach to come to us,” adds Mr Collins.
95-year-old family operator Jewitts Coaches wasted no time in getting the TC9 out to work. It was also present at an open day at nearby Humshaugh Village Hall in September, where Jewitts’ 2024 brochure was released.
“We appreciate this order and the confidence to buy from Pelican, and we look forward to repeat business in the future,” adds Mr Collins.
