Go-Ahead Group has announced its corporate sponsorship of Women in Bus and Coach (WiBC).
As part of the move, the operator will participate in WiBC’s events, mentorship programs, and advocacy efforts, furthering its commitment to promoting diversity in the workplace.
WiBC was launched in November 2023, just ahead of the routeone awards at the sameĀ Birmingham venue, with the aim of celebrating women in the industry and combating under-representation.

The news follows the announcement in March that Go-Ahead was aiming to recruit 1,5000 women bus drivers and achieve 50% gender equality among those it employed in the role by 2035.
