Mountain Goat, the minibus operator that links up communities in the Lake District valleys, has secured the VisitEngland Gold Accolade for outstanding excellence in tourism during the 2023/2024 season.

The award was presented by Chairman of Visit England, Victoria Borwick, to Mountain Goat’s team on 22 October, at a ceremony at the British Motor Museum.

Managing Director of Mountain Goat Robin Tyson, accompanied by Operations Manager Kate Barton and Marketing Executive Rosie Danagher, credited the achievement to the collective passion and hard work of everyone in the company.

“We’re absolutely delighted to receive this accolade from Visit England. Our team at Mountain Goat works incredibly hard to provide the highest level of customer service and deliver exceptional experiences to all our guests,” he adds.

VisitEngland Accolades are awarded to hosts that “go the extra mile” for their customers. The Gold and Silver Awards celebrate companies that outperform in their category.
