Close Brothers Motor Finance has raised £6,529 for Cash for Kids’ toy appeal Mission Christmas.

It is the seventh consecutive year in which the finance company has supported the charity, which provides gifts for sick and underprivileged children over Christmas.

Via what was a record total for Close Brothers, staff, friends, dealer partners and family supported the giving of 560 gifts to benefit children in the local community.

Seán Kemple, CEO of Motor UK and Retail Finance Ireland at Close Brothers Motor Finance, says: “The annual participation of the Close Brothers Motor Finance team in the Mission Christmas appeal has become an immense source of personal pride.

“In 2024, we went above and beyond once again in aid of an excellent charity.

“So many of us have the privilege to associate Christmas with happy childhood memories, so it’s a pleasure to have helped so many local children get a visit from Santa, and have presents to open on Christmas day.

“This is a fantastic cause and I’m always amazed by the effort put in by all of our colleagues to do what they can to help those in the local community who are less fortunate than themselves.”
