Up to 90 bus stops on five corridors in south Birmingham could be closed in a trial to speed up bus journeys.
Over the years passenger and local councillors’ requests, plus land use changes mean that some areas are over-served, as little as 130m apart. The local standard is 400m. The suggestion came from National Express West Midlands during a network review.
