Specialist fleet insurance broker McCarron Coates will underline its commitment to the UK coach sector at The Big Coach Conversation on 27 March, where it will highlight its new road transport legal protection proposition, Accelerate.
Accelerate was launched in January in partnership with solicitors JMW. It offers comprehensive legal protection to coach and bus operators, their finances, directors and O-Licences. It includes proactive legal advice prior to employment tribunals or Traffic Commissioner hearings and covers investigations by regulatory bodies including the Health and Safety Executive, DVSA, Trading Standards, police and the Environment Agency.
McCarron Coates, known for championing causes that matter to operators, views The Big Coach Conversation — to be hosted by CMAC at Derbyshire Cricket Club — as an opportunity to reinforce its position as both an industry partner and advocate. It builds on the Leeds-based broker’s broader support for the sector, which includes a presence at industry events such as the UK Coach Rally, and lobbying campaigns during the pandemic.
Representing the broker at the event will be Director Paul Coates, and newly appointed fleet specialist Morgan Bryant, who joined the company from Gallagher Insurance.
“The Big Coach Conversation will provide us with another opportunity to interact with our clients at an event that is coach community focused and seeking to strengthen the resilience of that community,” comments Mr Coates. “Our new Accelerate proposition does the same and dovetails perfectly with our RTC Crisis Line offering. While the former protects the ‘entity’, in terms of the coach business and its managerial team, the latter is concerned with protecting the driver, their livelihood and the impacts of their behaviours on the corporate body.
“We shall be delighted to explain the complete umbrella of legal protection that both provide, as we meet with friends, clients and new contacts at Derbyshire Cricket Club.”
