Local Transport Minister Simon Lightwood (pictured, front left) will address this year’s ALBUM conference, which is to be hosted by Nottingham City Transport on 12-14 May.
The gathering is now nearly sold out and will bring bus operators together under the theme of Delivering Excellent Bus Services Through Positive Partnerships. All exhibition stand space is now accounted for and delegate bookings are “soaring,” ALBUM says.
Mr Lightwood’s address at the conference will continue his regular appearances on the industry event calendar since appointment in mid-2024. “His presence underscores the national importance of the issues being discussed and ALBUM’s role in shaping the future of local public transport,” the Association continues.
Nottingham City Transport Managing Director and ALBUM Chair David Astill (pictured, front Right) adds: “We are thrilled with the response so far, and with Simon Lightwood joining us, this year’s conference will be even more impactful.
“The support from across the industry demonstrates how valuable ALBUM is to our sector. If you have not already secured your place, now is the time!” In 2024, Mr Astill and Nottingham City Transport hosted Mr Lightwood in the minister’s first official visit while holding the local transport brief.
