Two years after the Traffic Commissioner for Wales’ role was created, post holder Nick Jones has still not established an office in the country, it has been reported.
According to Wales Live, Mr Jones has admitted struggling to set up an office in Wales, and his office work is done from Birmingham. However, after looking for potential premises in Cardiff and Bangor, it is understood that an office in Caernarfon is being assessed.
A spokesman for Mr Jones tells Wales Live that the Traffic Commissioner is working with the Welsh Government on finding an appropriate office and that all of his regulatory hearings as well as industry seminars and workshops are held in Wales.
