Van Hool is expanding its EX range with a short version, the EX11.
It will be launched at Busworld, taking place for the first time in Brussels, Belgium on 18-23 October, and available to UK operators through dealer Arriva Bus and Coach with next year’s deliveries.
With the EX11, Van Hool says it is responding to demand from the market for a well-equipped and comfortable 11-metre vehicle.
It will be available in two heights: The EX11L at 3.5m, with 4.14 m³ luggage space, and the EX11H at 3.8m, with 7.20 m³ luggage space.
Depending on the model, the vehicle can accommodate up to 47 passengers. It can also be specified with a toilet.
The new versions can be ordered immediately and are available with DAF’s latest NG engine, with a choice of gearbox.
Steve Fletcher, Head of Product, Arriva Bus and Coach says: “The development of the EX11 complements the EX15, EX16 and EX17, which we already offer at Arriva Bus and Coach. This includes a selection of stock EX models available for immediate delivery.
“The EX11 is also an indication of Van Hool’s commitment to the EX range and the ever-increasing popularity and confidence in these coaches around the world as well as here in the UK.”
Introduced in 2014, the EX range now comprises the EX11, EX15, EX16 and EX17, in nine versions.
