Scottish coach firm Timberbush Tours, with headquarters in Edinburgh, has established its new hub at Inverness Bus Station where it will operate a fleet of Mercedes 16-, 19- and 33-seat coaches to carry tourists on a range of 1-3-day tours to the likes of Applecross, Skye, Loch Ness, John O’Groats and Orkney.
The move to Inverness is part of an expansion strategy undertaken by Timberbush which increased its tour schedule last year by offering trips to the Highlands and Islands.
Steve Spalding, CEO of Timberbush Tours, says: “Inverness has always been a popular destination for our tours and our market research indicated that ‘bed nights’ in the local hotels, hostels and guest houses were at such a consistently high level, that it made a lot of sense to invest in establishing a permanent hub in the city.”
