Go Ahead is considering allowing parcel courier firms to have distribution bases in its London depots during the day, when its fleet is on the road. 
Contrary to general media reports, it will not be delivering parcels by bus.
It is part of Mayor Sadiq Khan’s aim to reduce the amount of van traffic on London’s roads by having consolidated hubs, with a single-source of ‘last mile’ delivery.
