Hadleigh, Suffolk-based Beestons has added two Panther-bodied Volvo B8Rs to its fleet, supplied by Plaxton. They are both PSVAR compliant and come with 59 seats, three pairs among which have tip-up bases to allow the easy carriage of a wheelchair user.

Also fitted to each of the Panthers is CCTV and screens around the driver’s area as part of the operator’s COVID-19 safety measures.

The vehicles represent Beestons’ second coach order with Plaxton parent Alexander Dennis in the last two years. They have replaced earlier examples of the same type.

Says Operations Director Tom Munson: “We are delighted to be adding these two coaches to our fleet. They are accessible, comfortable and reliable vehicles that will serve our customers very well.”
