D&E Coaches’ two new 9.5m Wrightbus Streetlite WFs seat 37 passengers

Inverness-based D&E Coaches has taken delivery of two 9.5m StreetLite wheel forward models, supplied by Wrightbus (02825 641212).

The buses seat 37 and come with Euro 5 Cummins engines coupled to Voith gearboxes. Micro Hybrid technology is also fitted.

Says MD Donald Mathieson: “We felt that the StreetLite met our requirements perfectly and we chose them specifically for their fuel consumption and passenger capacity.

“We also had a very tight lead time and Wrightbus was able to supply the buses in line with our schedule.

“Following our recent purchase of an existing operator’s fleet, we acquired a StreetLite. We are impressed with the performance and build quality of the bus, so we had no hesitation in going for two more.”
