Felixstowe Travel had taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an X-Clusive conversion, supplied by EVM.
19 Executive Class 110 reclining seats trimmed in leather and with diamond stitching are fitted. All have three-point belts and aisle-side folding arm rests. They are complemented by decorative curtains and USB charging points. A courier’s position is also provided.
A 9.3kW Webasto roof-mounted air-conditioning unit is part of the specification. It vents via the luggage racks to the passenger service units. Also part of the saloon equipment are full-length interior lights and blue LED night illumination.
The driver benefits from a reversing camera, while the minicoach is equipped with Tarabus non-slip flooring and removable aisle carpet. A Masats powered passenger door is included, as are panoramic double-glazed side windows.
Externally, a drop boot is accessed through the OEM hinged rear doors, while EVM’s styling kit includes a front bumper spoiler and colour-coded side mouldings, grille and skirts. The converter’s chrome pack and marker lights at the front and rear complete the visual appeal.
Power is from a 170bhp engine driving through a six-speed manual gearbox. The minicoach was received by Lee Dabbs (pictured) of Felixstowe Travel. Like other members of the Suffolk fleet, it carries a cherished ‘FXO’ registration.
