London operator Evo Travel has taken delivery of the first two of an order for three Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches, both on 23 plates. They are supplied by EvoBus (UK) and have been built to the customer’s specification.
All three will be the 13m, two-axle Tourismo M/2 model with a configurable 57/59-seat layout and Travel Star Eco+ upholstery. Synthetic leather inserts are part of the specification along with drop-down tables and USB charging points.
Evo Travel will use the coaches on a range of private hire work. They join a fleet that majors on a discrete, unmarked white livery and which is built predominantly on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
