Galleon Travel has completed 2022’s purchase of 10 Enviro200 single-decker buses with the arrival of a second batch of five. They have been supplied by Alexander Dennis and Mistral.
All 10 are painted in the colours of the Central Connect brand, which sits alongside the Galleon Travel identity for coaches. They have been sourced to reduce fleet average age and maintenance costs and improve customer comfort.
Each of the 2022 deliveries have wood-effect flooring, multi-colour LED destination displays, passenger next stop information, CCTV and USB charging points. They are in use on commercial and contracted services in Essex and Hertfordshire.
Comments Alexander Dennis Retail Sales Manager Mark Taylor: “This delivery takes the total number of Enviro200 single-deckers we have built for Galleon Travel to 14 – all of them in less than two years since the company first bought new buses from us.
“We are delighted with this resounding vote of confidence in our British-built products and we look forward to further supporting Matt Bowden and his team.”
Adds Mistral National Retail Sales Manager Freddie Fuller: “These 10 new vehicles look great in their Central Connect livery and will certainly help to uphold the operator’s desire of running accessible vehicles for its passengers, as well as modern, fuel efficient, low-emission buses to maintain a small carbon footprint.”
