Grange Travel of Kent has added a further new vehicle to its fleet in the form of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with high-specification coachbuilt EVM Grand Tourer bodywork.
The minicoach is finished in selenite grey and it has 19 Executive Class 120 seats alongside a courier’s position. All are finished in a cushioned leather trim incorporating diamond stitching and with three-point belts. Each passenger seat has a magazine net and a drop-down table that incorporates an iPad slot.
Other elements of the interior specification include panoramic double-glazed side windows with brushed aluminium finish capping, an in-dash air-conditioning unit with auxiliary water heater and convector radiators, a Webasto 15.5kW roof-mounted unit, and a thermostat control in the cab.
Additional fitments are a PA system with both a handheld microphone and a pillar-mounted example, saloon speakers as part of the passenger service units, a reversing camera, and an Indel fridge beneath the dash. Wood-effect Tarabus flooring completes the cabin ambience.
Externally, the minicoach for Grange Travel has a powered, parallel-lifting boot door with gas struts that rises to reveal a 2.8 cubic metre luggage area. That capacity is complemented by side lockers.
A discreet look for the Grand Tourer is completed by an EVM front spoiler with daytime running lights, colour-coded bumpers, grille and side mouldings and skirts, and the manufacturer’s characteristic chrome styling package. Power comes from the OM 642 engine developing 190bhp driving through a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox.
