Sidcup operator Homesafe Travel has made a first move into larger coaches with the delivery of a new Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.
The vehicle comes with a cherished 73-plate registration mark and it has been delivered with 37 seats in a brown-based half-leather scheme.
Tables have been added along with CCTV, while standard TC9 items such as 240v and USB charging points, a Bosch entertainment package, a fridge, wood effect flooring and more are fitted. Power is from the Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
Area Sales Manager Phil Hodgson handled the sale for Pelican, with the dealership noting that in addition to the work with Homesafe Travel, it is seeing growing interest from other minicoach operators who are looking to make a move into larger vehicles.
“Our team work hard to make that process as easy as possible,” says UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins.
