Temporary labour specialist Kovacs Group of Nuneaton has introduced a second Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-decker, supplied by the manufacturer.
It is the first such example to come direct from the builder and will support the Midlands business’s work in supplying staff to the fast-moving consumer goods, drinks logistics, automotive, warehousing and industrial labour sectors.
Kovacs Group runs its own fleet of buses to carry those workers to outlying or difficult to reach locations and to ensure punctual arrivals.
The new Enviro400 has 85 seats and can carry 100 passengers in total. It is to the standard Alexander Dennis stock specification and has wood-effect flooring, three-point seatbelts, a digital tachograph and a comprehensive CCTV system.
Speaking about the purchase, Managing Director Robert Kovacs (pictured, right) says: “The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 offers us high capacity in a robust vehicle, allowing us to transport temporary workforces to and from sites in comfort and provide a reliable service for our customers.
“The team at Alexander Dennis has been incredibly helpful throughout the buying and delivery process, making it very smooth for us.”
Adds Alexander Dennis Regional Sales Manager Simon Wood (pictured, left): “It has been a pleasure to work with Kovacs Group directly for the first time to provide one of our popular double-deckers.
“It has already joined operations in the Midlands doing what the Enviro400 does best: moving large groups of people in comfort at low operating costs.” The bus is named Daisy and is set off by a cherished registration mark.
