15 Plaxton Leopard-bodied Volvo B8R coaches have been delivered to the Education Authority in Northern Ireland by Alexander Dennis (ADL). The 12.8m vehicles include examples with a range of seating capacities between 57 and 72 and they will operate across the province.
The Education Authority specification include electronic school bus signage, a comprehensive CCTV system and a range of safety features and audio announcements. ADL says the coaches’ delivery represents a further part of a “long standing relationship” between the two organisations.
Adds UK Retail Sales Director Richard Matthews: “We are delighted to be supplying these 15 vehicles to the Education Authority. The Plaxton Leopard coaches will deliver reliability and comfort for the many pupils that will travel on them day in, day out.”
