New coaches for Hindley-based Olympia Travel are two 12.9m i6 integrals, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

Both are identically specified. They each carry 53 passengers, with an additional seat pair provided to allow for an increase in capacity to 55 later.

Three-point belts are fitted, along with a centre sunken toilet, a drinks machine and a comprehensive entertainment system.

Returning to Irizar UK was an easy decision to make, says Director Shaun Lewis. “We have a great relationship with the team. Aftersales support is always on hand when needed, whether for technical advice or for warranty work.”

Power in both coaches is from DAF’s MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp, driving through the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
