A third i6 integral has been delivered to Pontypool-based Peakes Coaches by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

Use of DAF engines is key to Peakes’ ongoing transition to the integral range, and the availability of three mobile technicians at Irizar UK – in addition to the iService online portal – has also been considered, says Director Josh Peake. The online parts ordering eShop facility is equally important.

The new i6 integral, a two-axle coach, has the MX-11 engine at its most powerful, 435bhp rating.

It is coupled to ZF’s automated AS-Tronic gearbox, and Peakes has also opted for 57 seats with drop-down tables, a drinks machine, toilet, two-monitor entertainment system and a reversing camera.

The coach will be used on a range of work including tours.
