Star Coaches of Batley has added a VDL Futura FHD2 to its fleet, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

Finished in the operator’s distinctive metallic blue livery, the two-axle, 12.9m coach has 57 Vogel LS40 seats trimmed with Prestige upholstery and strawberry-coloured leather headrests and piping.

They also have three-point belts, drop-down tables, magazine nets and thin backrests to maximise leg room.

Entertainment is from a Bosch Smart Line multimedia system. The coach also has a centre sunken toilet, a drinks machine and a fridge, along with other fittings.

Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 410bhp coupled to ZF’s Traxon automated manual gearbox with an Intarder auxiliary brake. The look is completed by alloy wheels.
