Ashton-in-Makerfield operator Eavesway Travel has added a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a top-specification EVM X-Clusive conversion to its fleet. It is built on the V6-equipped 519CDi base vehicle and it has 16 Executive Class 110 seats that are covered in white real leather and which come with three-point belts.
Two leg-free tables are fitted at the front of the minicoach. They are finished with a black wood outer rim and have leather inserts and recessed cup holders. 10 USB charging points are complemented by two double 240v sockets that are powered by a 2.3kW Waeco pure sine wave inverter.
The specification also includes a Dometic slide-out fridge and an Eberspächer EV814 14kW saloon air-conditioning unit. A glazed roof with twin roller blinds complements the vehicle’s panoramic side double-glazing.
At the rear is a coach-style boot door mounted on gas struts. It opens to reveal a full-depth luggage storage area. The floor is raised at the rear to eliminate wheel arch intrusion and the back row of seats is on a pedestal.
The PA system comes with a hand microphone and saloon speakers that are integrated into the passenger service units on the underside of the luggage racks. Twin 17in monitors are connected to a DVD player and the driver benefits from a reversing camera with a 7in touch screen display.
On the outside, the X-Clusive for Eavesway Travel has an EVM front bumper spoiler with daytime running lights. Trim is all colour-coded and the converter’s trademark chrome pack is fitted.
