Irish operator Foxhound Travel of Rockcorry, Co Monaghan, has added a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo to its fleet, supplied by EvoBus (UK).
The new coach has been built to the buyer’s specification. It includes accessibility for a wheelchair user, with a lift along with three pairs of tip up ‘shuffle’ seats to create the necessary space.
Other elements of the specification include ‘puddle’ lighting at the door, USB charging points, drop-down tables and foot rests. The driver benefits from exterior periphery lighting, a reversing camera and Bi-Xenon headlights.
Safety considerations include Active Brake Assist 4 along with lane departure warning. The Tourismo joins a fleet that already includes Mercedes-Benz vehicles, with Foxhound Travel noting that one of its specialties is accessible travel.
