West Coast Motors has taken delivery of its seventh latest-generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with EVM Cityline low-floor minibus conversion. All are used on demand responsive services and were soon to be followed by three more examples.
16 Sege Narrow 3040 seats trimmed in synthetic leather are fitted, including additional padding and plastic backs, along with a USB charging point at each position.
Saloon air-conditioning and convector heaters are also part of the package, while Hanover destination displays are fitted at the front and to each side. Speakers in the passenger area are coupled to a Mercedes-Benz Pro unit and the driver benefits from a reversing camera.
Passengers board and alight via a twin-leaf, 120cm wide Masats powered plug door, with the same supplier providing a lightweight fold-our ramp to enable access for wheelchair users. Within the low-floor section full-length tracking is fitted, while a luggage pen is positioned adjacent to the ticket machine mounting point.
