Whittles Coaches has taken delivery of its first Irizar integral in the form of a 12.2m i6S, supplied by Irizar UK.

The new addition to the Johnsons Coaches subsidiary’s fleet has 49 seats that are finished in leather and with what the dealership describes as padded wings for extra comfort. That makes the vehicle suitable for touring work or corporate charter, it continues.

Each passenger position has a magazine net, a drop-down table, a footrest and a USB charging point. The coach has been built with LED mood lighting as an additional amenity.

Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 408bhp driving through the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
