Solihull-based LandFlight had impending emission control zones in mind when it added two Yutong TC9 midicoaches to its fleet, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

They form part of a wider investment based around Euro 6 compliance, and the Yutongs have more seats and additional storage space compared to the vehicles that they have replaced.

Says Director Danny Matthews: “The new TC9s have comforts that include USB points for every passenger, wi-fi and leather seats. I’m sure our customers will notice the difference immediately.

“We will not have to pay the £100 charge that many vehicles are liable for now London’s ULEZ has been introduced, or the £50 Clean Air Zone charge that is coming soon to Birmingham.”
